Savannah Brasher, MS, LMFTA, CFLE-P

Savannah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Associate as well as a Provisional Certified Family Life Educator. If you are looking to focus on family issues, emotion dysregulation, relationships or connection, she would love to work with you.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Savannah most often focuses on the importance of relationships and the inevitable influence that they have over lives. Whether she is working with an individual, couple, family or child, treatment will promote attachment, healthy interactions, connection, emotion regulation and effective behaviors.

As a Provisional Certified Family Life Educator, Savannah has a greater comprehension of family systems and family life. This allows her to teach clients about human development and behavior throughout the lifespan. After receiving family life education, clients may gain a new understanding of the role they play in their family, strengthening and empowering them with knowledge and skills that create positive interpersonal change.

Savannah is under the direct supervision of Charice Calloway, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Supervisor #L608. She is currently not an insurance provider.

  • Savannah attended the University of Alabama for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a Minor in Addictions and Recovery and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. While in her master’s program, she obtained five hundred required hours of direct therapy with clients. She was given the opportunity to work with a variety of different clients while at a clinic on campus and at an internship in Tuscaloosa. She grew in both competency and skill as a therapist.

  • Since being in the work field, Savannah has served clients of all populations in both the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa areas of Alabama. Becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist has allowed Savannah to find that working with an understanding of a family system to support a client is her greatest joy. She is prepared to assist a variety of populations well, providing the utmost care in her practice. Savannah sees individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents.
